THE ASK

Create a digital product and launch campaign around tackling a large societal issue that has not been solved that needs solving.

INSIGHT

It’s difficult to connect

one on one.

STRATEGY

Taking the complicated out of connections.

OPPORTUNITY

How might we... create a digital product that helps users find like minded individuals for friendship without the pressure of one on one hangouts?

SOLUTION

Acquaint, a friendship making app, that utilizes an innate personality quiz and shared interests to effortlessly match individuals in groups of three to five, focusing on cultivating genuine platonic friendships.

BACKGROUND

In America, our society is facing a large problem, the loneliness epidemic.

This epidemic is affecting our health and future as a society.

Friendship making apps focus on connecting users to another singular user. These one on one conversations or hangouts, can feel awkward, pressured, and intimate.

Each user needs to answer questions about their experience & will have the opportunity to give their contact information to their new connections if they have not done so already.

After competition the group chat will be deleted, encouraging users to move off the app or keep searching.
